    Hi Nnamdi,
    great tips bro..
now i get the idea, how to rank now, is based on quality content.

what is an average age of a website, that google put more attention to, do u have any idea Namdi?
keep providing the best and packed info bro.
Hope you all the success.. 🙂

Hello Rosdy, thanks for dropping by. The thing is that there is no age limit so to say, because as your website becomes older it gains more trust in the search engines’ eyes and so it will consider ranking your webpages. Basically, age of your site determines the amount of trust the search engines could bestow on it and ultimately translates to traffic.

But if I must state an age limit that would be from a year old with consistent quality content, then you could start seeing some reasonable amount of organic traffic. Nevertheless it could take less time to accomplish so much too.

    Great post Nnamdi,

This is what SEO is all about…quality content that can easily be shared. Also, make sure that you allow engagement on your website as search engines follow people.

Great post with some highly valuable information. People tend to forget the importance of internally linking their other content to anchor text in the posts they are writing. This builds your authority as Google etc see that you trust your own information. I agree with you about the quality content…its the most important and in my opinion needs to be substantial…anything less than 1200 words wont rank as well as 1500-2000
    Really great tips here.

Thanks Jason for popping up. As to a quality and ”substantial” content, that is most necessary. However, like you stated that it has to be 1500 to 2000 words in order to rank well is true, but it is also true not to try to write a substantial content without quality because that would fail you as well. Therefore, there is the need to write a quality content ”naturally” which will determine the number of words in your content. Once you are able to write naturally it will be engaging and having cross linked your content there will be less bounce rate which will translate to more traffic from Google.

Great post! This was very informative. I would add to the part about having good constant content, make sure the content sounds like you are talking to that person. Write like you are talking to a friend. People lean more towards website articles that sound like a real person is talking. I have also found that (me as a consumer) I don’t like to read articles that are too long and winded unless the first paragraph or so is very interesting. Great content and very helpful!!

Thank you Kristena for the visit and also for the contributory comment here.

Hi Nnamdi, excellent post, so much useful information. As someone relatively new to all this, I’m always ready to read some tips that will help. I definitely write as much as I can, as often as possible, but I probably don’t put enough internal links in my posts. I’ll have to go through and make sure I do a better job of that.

    • Nnamdi

I am glad my post is contributing positively to my audiences. And yes make sure add internal links that are related to your article when writing a post. This is a great way of improving your bounce rate and ultimately higher ranking.
