I am compelled to look into MMM Nigeria after the dust has settled after it came out of the pause mode. It will interest you to know the current status of MMM Nigeria after so many speculations and presumptions from the media. It is kind of confusing what to believe in as the media will say negative of the scheme with the other side of their mouths and then say positively with another side of the mouth. I have been following the trend since the MMM Nigeria crises began last year Dec. 2016.
As a matter of fact, I have even learnt on not to bother myself reading any article written by any website because the truth is, they are not trying to get you informed but to make money by all means, so if the news is true or false they don’t care so long is driving traffic to their website.
So, if you are still wondering if MMM Nigeria is a scam you will find out by the time you are done reading this post.
Is MMM Nigeria a Scam?
Now, we would like to define a scam in order to make a headway. A scam is a DISHONEST SCHEME designed to swindle people of their money. If you look at that definition you find out what is more pronounced in it is the word ‘’dishonest’’.
Is MMM dishonest? Are they trying to swindle people of their hard money? If you know or have read about the MMM Ideology you will know better. MMM Nigeria is not a scam because it is transparent as no other scheme of its kind has ever been. At least, we all know who is behind MMM Nigeria which is Sergey Mavrodi and he actually declares that MMM is a Ponzi scheme. If you are a new participant before providing help (PH) you are supposed to check a box to acknowledge that you have understood the MMM Ideology and risks. You are also advised to use your SPARE MONEY to provide help, not the money meant for school fees or wedding.
This is called transparency, because there is some level of ‘’HONESTY’’ opposed to ‘’DISHONESTY’’ that is associated with a SCAM. The other reason why MMM Nigeria is not a scam is because it came back after it was forced to go on a pause mode by the media and the government and it is still thriving to this day. Now, how many Ponzi schemes have surfaced when MMM Nigeria went on a pause mode? Did people patronize these countless schemes? Did they lose money? The answer is that people patronized these schemes despite what the government was saying, (thanks to the economy) and people also lose big.
How many of those schemes are still functional? Some of them packed up as soon as they started and the ones that are still out there are merely rounding up to pack up too. These are the ones you could say they are scams because they don’t have background information, all they wanted was to get into the people’s pockets and get away with their money.
Should I invest in MMM?
First correction, putting your money in MMM is not seen as an ‘’investment’’ but a donation meant to help each other and there is no legal document that your money must be paid back. It is a mutual aid social network where people have decided to help one another. So, understand that concept first, once you do you will be in the right frame of mind to participate. Now, the question is, should you participate in MMM? Well, I will urge you to read the ideology first and understand it before making any decision. This post is meant to address the misconception people are having concerning MMM. If you are not sure you can participate, you may start with N2k in order to find out how it works.
MMM Nigeria is not a get rich quick scheme but a community of selfless people helping one another. It is when you want to make it big that you would put so much money and if there is anything like the pause mode your money will be stuck and delayed and then it becomes a problem to you because the money you used is not spare money.
If you are interested you must use your spare money and don’t see it as an investment because it is clearly stated that it is not an investment. MMM Nigeria is still the best and well-organized scheme; therefore it is not a scheme of today gone tomorrow. Come to think of it, it has actually survived in other countries for 3 to 4 years now despite the deliberate panic caused by the government and the media.
MMM does not have any product or does it retail any product but it is solely a peer to peer scheme. It has actually learned from it past crises and it is even stronger this time.
