There are very unclear explanations to all these Ponzi schemes that are springing up here and there. MMM is a very famous and popular Ponzi scheme that started way back in the 80s then was reborn in 2011 by Sergey Mavrodi. However, it is difficult to tell which of the MMM versions are been controlled by this man as MMM claims it operates in over 118 countries. Many of these countries it operates in it usually add the name of the country to MMM; for instance, Nigeria, you have MMM Nigeria, China, MMM China, South Africa, MMM South Africa, etc.
But it appears there are cloned MMM all over the place such as MMM Naija, MMM Cash, MMM West Africa, NNN, MMM United and the rest. These cloned MMM Ponzi schemes do not have any information as to who is running it or do they want people to believe it is managed by the same Sergey Mavrodi? Often times, Sergey Mavrodi denies owning these other cloned schemes.
Now, MMM Reunited is yet another cloned MMM that was registered on the 29th Jan. 2017 with United States of America and Nigeria as its top source of traffic. I am not surprised to find out that Nigeria is one of the top participants because it is my country and we are prone to participating in all these types of schemes as though they are our second job. Actually, they might as well be our first job as the recession is hitting the country so hard everyone is trying to survive with not jobs available.
There is no explicit information as to who owns it or where he lives but all they are trying to say to prospective participants is that there is a 100% return on investment in a month’s time.
MMM Reunited Products
As with other similar kinds of schemes, MMM Reunited does not have any product but claims it is a crowd funding scheme where one puts a certain amount of money and gets back the money with 100% ROI in a month’s time. Members usually donate $20 to $1000, depending on what the person can donate.
There are incentives like 6% will be added to the donated money if paid within 6 hours of signing up, and 2% will be paid if a member donates money within 6 to 24 hours of signing up. You should also know that if a member wishes to withdraw or get the help of the money invested/donated in MMM Reunited, the member most donate/reinvest an equal or more amount as the initial or previous investment.
If you are familiar with any other MMM scheme you will understand that they operate in a similar fashion except for some difference in terms of rules. MMM Reunited has a flat 10% commission for any member that recruits someone. However, Guiders get more commission than everyone else.
To qualify for a Guider you must donate/invest a minimum or $200 and be able to recruit 10 members who have been able to donate/invest $100 each.
This is how it works; they use a uni level structure that places a Guider at the top while the personally recruited members are placed under him/her, that is the level 1. Level 2 begins when the members placed on level 1 begin to recruit other members, and that is level 2 and so on the pattern continues.
Commissions are paid based on the amount each member of the structure donates. These are the percentage below:
- Level 1- 5% that for personally recruited members
- Level 2- 3%
- Level 3-1%
- Level 4- 0.5%
- Level 5- 0.3%
- Level 6 the rest -0.2%
I tell anyone that cares to listen that MMM Reunited and the likes of it are like a gambling. There are people that made money from this type of scheme but there are a whole lot of people that lose their money as well because it is like paying the old member with the new member’s money. Often times, the early participants benefit from the scheme than the later participants because that could be the time signups are slowing down.
The only person(s) that benefits all the way is the operator (s) or admin(s) behind the scheme, whether it flies or crashes they are always making their money without any disruption.
A lot of people have lost so much money in this type of scheme here in Nigeria and some schemes may just launch and operate for like a month or two and they are gone. There is one, in particular, that was called penihub.com that launched around Feb. 2017 and disappears into the thin air after just one week because a lot of people thought it was genuine and participated hugely…and also lose hugely.
My honest suggestion to you is that you should look up a different way of how to make money online. Unfortunately, the legitimate way of making money often comes with work, perseverance, and patience but it lasts for like forever if done right. If you don’t have any idea of what to do then, how about starting up an online business based on your passion? Maybe you have tried and failed in the past or you haven’t but it makes no difference because your willingness is what really matters. If you are willing that means you will give it all to set yourself free from financial slavery.
